Out of the ashes
I had a thought the other night as I was sitting outside in my back yard, starting at the flames in our fire pit, that we are currently watching the old world/paradigm burn. When we all come out on the other side of this Covid-19 pandemic, and begin to rebuild our world, what systems are no longer serving us that we don't need to fight to keep them going? What kind of world do we want to create out of the ashes of the old? I believe if we are having to fight to try to keep something going, like our economy, then that is a clear sign that we need to find a different way of doing things. We have been watching the old ways of being crumble away for quite some time. The systems are broken and there has been a lot of hurt inflicted on our planet. What we are currently experiencing is awful and tragic in so many ways and yet there is so much beauty coming out of this. Humanity at its worst and best all at the same time.
